Fancy Drinks...
Yesterday was spent cleaning the house(s) in preparation of the arrival of MANY Szigethys (5 to be exact). Mandy needed curtains finished up. She made them and they look great now that they are hung. I had to clean up the house so that the mini kitties (dust bunnies) weren’t running about.

Hop Festival 3/25/10
Okay, I apologize. No pretty beer pictures. It was really f-ing dark in the basement of Eastburn for the Bear Republic Hops festival so that pretty much took care of that. Besides, Jessi and I were a bit too mesmerized by the skinny hipster chick without hand/eye coordination playing the “Big Buck Hunter” video game. It was like a car wreck.

So Last night Mandy and I went to Corkscrew in Westmoreland. What a nice, cozy little place. The picture above is the wine shelves by the front door. The whole place exudes warmth.

What's that noise? Saturday 3/13 Portland Iditarod
For the last day of early morning sunlight (and the last day before Barb returns from New Zealand), we got an early start with a trip to Mill End for curtain fabric and general inspiration.
